Glowing Skin

Take one teaspoon Rose Petal paste, one teaspoon Chiraunji powder,and Milk.
Apply gently into the skin and scrub
Wash off after some time with cold water and watch it glow!

Lip Glow
Mix ½ teaspoon Almond Oil WITH one teaspoon Glycerine.
Apply over your lips for a natural shine!

Cool in Summer

To keep your cool in summer, drink plenty of fresh fruit juices and coconut water and avoid sugary foods and drinks.

Suntan
Mash a coconut kernel to a pulp and apply it on your face for 10-15 minutes before washing off with cold water it is useful to avoid suntan,

Face Pack
Take white flour, mix lemon juice and crushed peppermints. mix them together. Let it set for about an hour, so it will get thicker.
Spread a layer on your face that will be normal, not too thin and not too thick.
Wash your face with warm water after 10 minute
After that take a piece of wet cloth, that is a little bigger than your face, with cold water. Put it on your face for 1 minute. Then pat your face dry for outrageous skin!

Chlorine Problem

Mix baking soda with your shampoo and apply to hair to get chlorine out of your hair.

Satin Smooth Skin!
Make the powder of the mango’s peels. Add 1 teaspoon milk powder and rub all over.
Wash off after 5 minutes for a perfect finish!

Itchy Scalp!

Take litre of water and boil a handful of ‘Neem’ leaves.use as an after-shampoo rinse.
This also works as an antibacterial.

Baby’s Dry Hair and Skin Massage

Most babies need a massage at least every alternate day.
Massage your kid with a UBTAN (homemade massage pack) made by mixing Three tablespoons of Almond Oil, almond paste, two tablespoons of fresh Cream and a little Wheat Flour.
Do without interval, you will notice a difference within a week.

Shining Hair!
To add sheen to your hair, mix the juice of one fresh Orange, 1 tablespoon Honey and 5 drops of Sandalwood Oil in water.
Use as an after-shampoo wash for fabulous and fragrant hair!

Smooth Skin

Lather your body and face thickly.
Take a cup of sugar, add concentrate of lemon juice or orange

(Sun Quick).

Scrub the body and face with this mixture on the lather. The latter will help the scrubbing.
Use warm water and rinse generously. You’ll get a delightful smooth skin.

Soft Lips

Mix 2 teaspoon coconut oil, 3 drops of lemon oil and 1 teaspoon bee wax lemon juice, and warm.
When it has melted, keep it into a glass jar.
Use this solution to moisturise your lips.

ACIDITY

Suck a small piece of jaggery (gur) every hour till acidity collapses. Gur eliminates acidity, improves digestion it also helps in expulsion of worms in small children.

Suck a clove (lavang) after the meals. It helps in reducing the onslaught of diseases arising out of acidity also gives instant relief. Clove helps to remove phlegm and builds appetite, and also increases the number of white blood cells

Drink coconut water 3-4 times a day.

Have a plateful of cucumber (kheera) and/or watermelon (tarbooz) every hour.

Mix 2 teaspoon of Harad juice and mix with equal amount of Amla juice and everyday a have it after meal.

Have 6-10 dried figs with a glass of lukewarm water before sleeping.

Grind 7-8 fresh marigold petals, 3-4 corns of black pepper, and 1 tb. spoon of crystalline sugar (mishri) into a fine paste and have it.

ACNE & PIMPLES

Mix the juice of 1 lemon with an equal quantity of rose water and apply it on the face for ½ hour. Then wash the face with normal water. Do this procedure for 15 days.

Massage the face with lemon’s internal skin and then wash the face with lukewarm water.

Grind the leaves of Tulsi and apply the paste on the face. DO NOT use this method on pricked or peeled pimples.

Mash a small amount of raw papaya and apply in on the face. After 15 minutes wash the face. Use lukewarm water to wash the face. Raw papaya will also give remarkable effects add it in your diet.

Mix 1 teaspoon of mint (pudina) juice with 1 teaspoon of lime juice and apply on the affected area overnight. In the morning wash it with fresh water.

Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric (haldi) powder to 1 teaspoon of mint juice and apply and wash at before sleep.

Grind a cucumber and add the multani mitti with it, mix it properly and apply it as a mask overnight and wash the face with lukewarm water in the morning.

DO NOT PRICK AND PEEL THE PIMPLES AS IT COULD LEAVE PERMANENT MARKS ON THE FACE. DRINK EXCESS OF WATER (4- 5 LITRES A DAY).

ANAEMIA

Avoid alcoholic drinks and tea, coffee immediately after/with meals as the tannin present in these hinders in the absorption of iron and other minerals from the food.

Take freshly prepared apple juice 1 hour before the meal or before going to the bed at night. REMEMBER the stomach should be empty (do not take a meal at-least 1 hour before taking the juice) while taking the juice and also do not eat/drink anything for about ½ – 1 hour after.

Teenagers and Children can take the juice of beetroot or both beetroot and apple mixed. REMEMBER to take the safety measures discussed above.

Take ripe mashed banana and Mix 1 tb. spoon of amla juice with it and eat it 2-3 times a day.

Have a ripe banana with 1 tb. spoon honey,1-2 times daily.

Soak 8-10 almonds (badam) with a teaspoon of rice overnight. Grind the mixture into a fine paste removing the outer skin of almonds and. Boil it with 1 ½ cups of milk and a pinch of turmeric (haldi) powder. Sweeten and drink once a day for a week.

Soak 10-12 currants (munnakas) in water overnight. Eat them removing seeds for 2-3 weeks.

Have juice of 250gm of spinach everyday for 2-3 weeks.

Have plenty of food rich in iron e.g. honey, bananas, apricots (khurmani),almonds, raisins (kishmish), lettuce (salad leaves), onion, spinach (palak), fenugreek (methi) leaves/seeds, grapes, tomatoes, carrots, gooseberry (amla), beetroots (chukander), apples, pomegranates (anaar), etc.

ANIMAL BITE

Take ½ teaspoon of powdered ground black cumin seeds (shahi jeera) with warm water, take it twice a day till the wound heels.

Mix equal quantity of kerosene oil(or petrol) and castor oil and massage the affected area with it. AVOID ITS CONTACT WITH BLOOD OR INTERNAL TISSUES.
